Vegan White Chocolate Hazelnut Spread Recipe

Kinder Bueno is by far our bestselling cookie and to celebrate one of our Vegan Cookie stockists turning one (Happy Birthday Borrowshop!), we decided to make a vegan version.

We used chopped up Love Raw bars in our OG vegan cookie dough and to make it extra special, made a vegan white chocolate hazelnut spread for the filling.

Below is the simple recipe for a vegan white chocolate hazelnut spread that we used (pretty similar to  Kinder Bueno filling).

You will need:

150g vegan white chocolate, I used JM posner's, available here.

85g toasted Hazelnuts

1tbsp vegetable oil

1tsp vanilla essence

Method

Melt the white chocolate, I do this in the microwave and check on it at very regular intervals, but you could use a Bain Marie instead.

Blitz the toasted hazelnuts in a food processor until very fine.

Add the vegetable oil and vanilla essence to the hazelnuts and blitz again until it is paste like. You might want to use a little more oil for a looser consistency.

Gradually add the melted chocolate to the hazelnut paste and blitz again until as smooth as possible!

Then spread on anything and everything in sight, eat straight from the mixer with a spoon or use as a delicious topping for brownies... Enjoy!!
